week 21 Modelling Alice

So here it is the final Concept of alice, painted by lewis jones that i will be modelling.
So this week i have been modelling alice I have tried to keep it as close to the concept as possible, working off the final paint over lewis did of alice from my iterations. We are keeping her fairly low poly due to our game being a side scroller, and you don't get very close to alice. Before modelling i took lewis's concept and then created some orthographies of alice to model from.
We have chosen to make the shoulders spheres as this will make it a lot easier to rig and means we won't have any deformation issues. We have decided to use Apex Cloth for the hair, apron and bow of alice, while the dress will be rigged to the body as normal. this should add a little more life to the character as she moves through wonderland.
Below is the finished mesh of Alice she is currently at 10,003 tris which is 5.063 polys. During my dichotomous duo character project i made the shoes really bad so on this character i made sure to be extra careful getting the shoes accurate to the concept.
Below is the alice model ready to go into zbrush so i can sculpt the fold into her clothing and also sculpt the hair.
